Register with USTA and play in rated league or tournament matches to establish an official NTRP rating. Self-rating at 3.5 without computer-rated match results is not credible proof — the official rating comes from playing sanctioned matches. Register at usta.com and enter a local league.
Proof required
Submit: (1) USTA profile screenshot showing your current NTRP rating; (2) record of at least 3 sanctioned matches played.
What gets checked
- USTA profile screenshot shows an official computer-generated rating — not a self-assessment
- Match records show opponent names and results — not just personal logs
- Matches are from a USTA-sanctioned league or tournament
