3 milestones
Identify an organised team sport at an appropriate level, complete the tryout or registration process, and receive confirmation that the team has been joined. The team must be an organised league team that competes against other teams in scheduled matches — not a gym class, casual kick-about, or fitness class. Most recreational leagues do not require a tryout and accept new members through registration; some competitive leagues or university teams require tryouts. The milestone is complete when team membership is confirmed with documentation.
Proof required
Submit: (1) confirmation that you have joined an organised team — a registration receipt, acceptance email, or a screenshot of the team's roster showing your name, and (2) a note naming the sport, league, and division level.
What gets checked
- Team is in an organised league with scheduled matches — a casual pickup group or gym class does not pass; the team must have scheduled competitive matches against other teams; a league schedule or fixture list establishes this
- Membership confirmation is documented — a registration receipt, team email, or roster listing is required; 'I joined the team' without documentation does not pass
- Sport and level are named — the note must specify the sport, league name, and level (recreational, competitive, county, university); the level helps establish appropriate expectations for the season
