Define a writing habit with a specific format, word count target, and daily time slot — and write for 14 consecutive days without missing a day. The 14-day threshold is evidence that the habit has survived real life: a weekend, a workday, a tired evening, an unexpected obligation. The format can be anything — a journal, a blog, fiction, essays, morning pages — but it must be defined before day 1 so that the writer is not deciding what to write each day, only sitting down and writing it.

Proof required

Share a log of 14 consecutive days of writing — screenshots of dates + word counts from a writing app, a spreadsheet, or a plain text log. State the format, the daily word count target, and the time slot you committed to. Write one sentence on what you noticed about your writing after 14 consecutive days.

What gets checked

  • 14 consecutive days documented — dates and word counts visible in the log.
  • Format, word count target, and time slot defined before day 1.
  • What you noticed after 14 days — any observation about the writing itself or the process.
