Define a personal brand position — the specific expertise or perspective you are known for, the audience you serve, and the platform where you will build that reputation — and establish a consistent presence on that platform with at least 10 pieces of published content. A personal brand without a position is just a presence; the position is what makes a particular person's perspective worth following over the thousands of others publishing on the same topic. The 10-piece threshold is the minimum to establish a pattern, not just a launch.
Proof required
Share the URL of your primary platform (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, a blog, or a newsletter). State your brand position in one sentence: '[Your name] helps [specific audience] with [specific expertise or perspective].' Share a list of the 10 published pieces with titles and dates. Write one sentence on how your content is different from other content on the same topic.
What gets checked
- Platform URL accessible with 10+ pieces of published content.
- Brand position stated in the '[Name] helps [audience] with [expertise]' format.
- Differentiation stated — not 'I provide valuable insights' but a specific angle, format, or perspective.
