Community Builder

For grades 9–12: you don't need a title to change something

You don't need a title to change something. Show up, bring others with you, and build something your community didn't have before. That's the proof. Every step in this path is about real impact on real people — the kind that shows up in a university personal statement, a job interview, or an Outcome Card that actually means something.

Help in Your Community

Required. Do something meaningful for others — collecting food, helping a neighbour, organising a donation drive, volunteering at a school event. Proof is a parent or teacher note describing what you did and who it helped. This is the one step that comes before everything else: you can't claim to be a community builder without a demonstrated act of community contribution.

Peer Tutor Your Classmates

Elective. Help at least 2 classmates consistently over 6 weeks or more. You have no authority to make them show up — they come back because the sessions are useful. Keep a session log and get a short attestation from your teacher, tutor coordinator, or tutee. A direct form of community contribution with clear, verifiable proof.

Lead a Volunteer Team for 3 Months

Elective — recommended Grade 11+. Recruit, coordinate, and lead a volunteer team of 3 or more people for at least 3 months producing measurable outcomes. Proof: team roster plus an outcomes report. The 3-month timeline is what makes this hard — sustaining volunteers who don't have to stay is the core test.

Raise Funds for a Verified Cause

Elective. Run a fundraising campaign for a registered cause and hit your target. Works for school bake sales, GoFundMe campaigns, sponsored events, or charity drives — what matters is a specific target, a campaign page or documentation, and proof of the final amount raised.

Lead a Community Project

Elective — the highest-impact step on this path and the hero outcome. Design and run a project that addresses a real community need: a school vegetable garden, a peer support group, a neighbourhood clean-up programme, a community newspaper. Involves 5+ volunteers, runs 8+ weeks, produces visible lasting impact. Proof: project plan + outcome evidence + 3 participant statements. This is the credential that travels.

Lead a Study Group From Zero to Sustained

Elective — recommended Grade 11-12. Recruit at least 4 people to a voluntary group around a shared goal, sustain it through natural attrition, and bring it to a defined endpoint. You have no formal authority: anyone can leave at any time with zero consequence. This is the Tier 1 GOVERNANCE outcome — full proof standard applies, including verifier endorsements.
