Complete the 8-Week MBSR Program

Complete the full 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. The Palouse Mindfulness program (palousemindfulness.com) is a complete, free, evidence-based MBSR program that mirrors the Jon Kabat-Zinn curriculum. Attend all eight sessions (live or online, or self-paced via Palouse), including the full-day retreat in week 7, and complete the assigned daily practices for each week. MBSR is a specific structured curriculum — ad hoc meditation without the MBSR curriculum does not qualify.

Proof required

Submit: (a) a practice log showing daily mindfulness practice across all eight weeks (note: practice can range from 10–45 minutes daily; brevity is acceptable, consistency is what matters), (b) the completed worksheets or reflection prompts from the Palouse Mindfulness program (or equivalent from a live MBSR class), and (c) a summary (minimum 300 words) of your experience of the full-day retreat or extended practice session in week 6–7.

What gets checked

  • Practice log covers all eight weeks with at least five days per week logged — missing two consecutive weeks indicates the program was not completed
  • Worksheets are genuinely completed with personal content — not copied from the program's example answers
  • Full-day retreat or extended session (minimum 4 hours of practice) is documented in week 6, 7, or 8
