Current milestone
Build a reading list and log the first 8 books
4 months (8 books at 2 per month pace)
Reading 24 books in a year (2 per month) requires sustained habit, not bursts. Build a deliberate reading list of at least 30 titles (so you have choices when a book does not suit the moment). Log your first 8 completed books: title, author, date started, date finished, and a 3-sentence note on what you took from it. Notes must be in your own words — not a star rating. The log is a record of thinking, not a reading receipt.
Proof required
Submit your reading log with the first 8 entries, each including title, author, date range, and your 3-sentence takeaway in your own words.
What gets checked
All 8 entries have dated completion — undated entries cannot be verified as completed.
3-sentence takeaways are in your own words — copied jacket blurbs or Goodreads summaries do not count.
Reading list shows variety across at least 3 genres or subject areas — 8 books from the same series is a streak, not a reading habit.
