Develop a written curatorial concept of 300–500 words that articulates the exhibition's central argument, the audience it is designed for, and the criteria by which you will select work. Recruit at least four participating artists or makers whose work supports the concept. Artist participation must be voluntary — all four must agree to participate knowing the exhibition is community-organised, not institutionally backed. The curatorial concept is the conceptual spine of the exhibition and will be used in all public communications.
Proof required
Submit your curatorial concept document (300–500 words) and a list of at least four participating artists with their names, discipline, and a one-sentence description of the work they are contributing. Include confirmation that each artist agreed voluntarily — an email exchange, written message, or signed participation form.
