Major language exams — IELTS, TOEFL iBT, DELF/DALF, DELE, JLPT, HSK, TOPIK, and their equivalents — test four skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking) with independent section scores. Understanding the weighting and format of each section before starting study is the difference between systematic preparation and revision that misses the actual test design.
Proof required
Name the exam, the issuing body, and your target band or level. Describe the format of each section and the time allowed per section. Share your exam registration confirmation or your planned registration date. Share a section-by-section study plan showing how you will prepare for each skill area before the exam.
What gets checked
- Exam is issued by an official recognised testing body (British Council/IDP for IELTS, ETS for TOEFL, Japan Foundation for JLPT, Hanban for HSK, France Éducation International for DELF/DALF, Instituto Cervantes for DELE, etc.)
- Target band or level is stated and maps to a real exam score range, not just 'pass'
- Study plan covers all four skill sections and assigns preparation time proportional to your current weaknesses
