Vandys- Tangy Chilli Roasted Makhana

Here’s a simple recipe for Tangy Chilli Makhana:

Ingredients:

• 2 cups makhana (fox nuts)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
• 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
• 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
• 1/2 teaspoon amchur (dried mango) powder
• Salt to taste
• Juice of half a lemon
• Finely chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add the cumin seeds and sauté until they start to crackle.
3. Add the makhana to the pan and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until they turn crispy and lightly browned.
4. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.
5. Add lemon juice and mix well.
6. Turn off the heat and transfer the makhana to a serving bowl.
7. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
