Diabliss Sugar is pure cane sugar fortified with proprietary herbal extracts which have insulin mimicking action, alpha glucosidase inhibition properties and longer term insulin resistance lowering properties. Water based extracts from 13 different herbs and spices (Fenugreek, Amla, Curcumin, Black Pepper, Ginger, etc) are added to the cane sugar. The net result is post prandial blood glucose levels are lowered by about 30%. The added herbs in Diabliss Sugar lower glycemic index (GI) of cane sugar from about 65-68 to about 47 (WHO & ADA recommend foods with GI <55 as suitable for diabetics).
As the base for Diabliss Sugar is cane Sugar, it tastes and processes like sugar but with lower post prandial blood glucose spiking. Also there is no bitter taste of sweeteners like stevia or sucralose or aspartame.
