Money Basics

For grades 6–12: earn it, track it, grow it

Money is a skill, not a mystery. Learn to earn it, track it, and make it do what you want — before the world expects you to already know how. Every step in this path is elective: start where your life is right now, whether that's making your first dollar or building your first savings habit.

Make Your First Budget

Save Up for Something You Want

Elective. Pick a specific savings goal, write it down before you start, and track weekly progress for at least 6 weeks until you hit it. Proof is your written goal, a savings tracker, and evidence of reaching the target. Works best after making a budget (seq 20) — you'll know exactly where to cut.
